📉 PUSD Test Scores Drop Again – Time for a Change! 📉 PUSD continues to disappoint with year-over-year declines in testing. Just before the last board meeting, the state released the results of the 2024 CAASPP testing – and not a single board member addressed it. They likely won’t until January, when they’re required to do so. 😔 This year’s scores show a troubling trend: English: 73.54% of students met or exceeded the state standard (down -1.09% from 2023) Math: 65.48% of students met or exceeded the state standard (down -1.47% from 2023) Gaps are widening across demographic groups 📊 We need to refocus on the most fundamental purpose of public schools: Educating. For five years, our district’s scores have steadily declined.
